Allegro - Opening the new connection
High-speed Allegro services between Helsinki and St. Petersburg started on the 12th of December. Opening festivities took place in both Helsinki and St. Petersburg within the same day. VR and Russian Railways RZD hosted the festivities.
Press conference and opening ceremony were held at the Finnish National Theatre. First run of the new Allegro train carried VIP-guest from Helsinki Railway Station to St. Petersburg, where the opening festivities continued with a dinner hosted by RZD and cocktails by VR.
Opening ceremony at the Finnish National Theatre featured high-quality Finnish artists and performers with top of the notch event technology.
Tapahtumantekijät Oy was responsible for all events in Helsinki and cocktails in St. Petersburg.
