Global Wind Day
Global Wind Day was celebrated for the first time also in Helsinki on 15th of June 2011. The companys and other organizations promoting wind energy gathered together at Kamppi shopping center. The aim was to meet citizens and share information about wind as a energy source and its many possibilities.
Several experts were interviewed during the day by the moderator Mrs Baba Lybeck. More unformal way to share information was via a theater group Reactori, which has produced sketchs about the facts and typical prejudices concerning wind energy.
