GTK's 125-year anniversary tour
Geological Survey of Finland, GTK, celebrated the 125-year history on a spectacular tour 11.-14.1.2011. Four consecutive days were celebrated in Espoo, Kokkola, Rovaniemi and Kuopio. Content and format of the events in all locations followed strictly a common concept. Local characteristics, however, were taken into consideration in serving and music performers during dinner.
The concept of anniversary tour culminates in the anniversary logo: GTK 125 years – eternally young. In accordance with the logo, all events were modern, concise and dynamic both in content and in form. Digital pre-production had an important role. There was the same host, lead performer, main speaker and the entire digital content at all events. The program was structured around a strict script.
Thanks to a strict conceptualisation all locations were able to take advantage of shared elements. Cost savings and ecologically sustainable implementation were achieved with repetition and recycling of elements.
