The International Social Housing Festival gathered around 1,000 social housing experts from around the world, from 54 different countries, in Helsinki. The four-day festival included 77 sub-events across the capital region. The sub-events were, for example, site visits, exhibitions, seminars and discussion events. The event was a hybrid, meaning that you could also participate in a large part of the sub-events remotely.
The goal of the event was to develop social housing in Finland and around the world, and to increase cooperation and networking between industry players. The project involved 76 partner organizations from around the world, so partner cooperation played a very large role in the project.
For three years, we were responsible for the planning of the entire massive project, all communication and marketing, as well as the overall production of the event.
Our customer's comments about our cooperation:
"From the beginning, our partner in the production of the festival was Tapahtumantekijät. All the ups and downs, challenges and successes of the project could be accommodated in the three-year project arc. Our reliable event production partner kept the atmosphere alive with their professionalism and positive attitude and radiated faith in the success of the event. The festival week was extremely successful and we received only positive feedback from the visitors. A massive international event requires multi-level event arrangements and Tapahtumantekijät kept the whole thing together nicely.
Cooperation with Tapahtumantekijät was uncomplicated and easy. We were able to trust 100% in the know-how and professionalism of the team. Together, we built a unique and historic social housing festival week in our capital. Thank you for being at HOME with us!”
