AKL Summit

AKL Summit is the automobile industry's top event, organised by the Finnish Central Organisation for Motor Trades and Repairs (AKL), which brings together the automobile industry's key influencers and key business partners. The event aims to be the number one event for the automobile industry, providing a unique opportunity to network, learn new and further the industry's success.

In 2025, the AKL Summit was held for the 11th time and Tapahtumantekijät planned and produced the event for the first time. The event returned to its roots in the renovated Finlandia Hall, and the concept was developed to be even more impactful. The main stage in Finlandia Hall was given a new, spectacular and dynamic look, using LED tubes and strips, spectacular laser lights and state-of-the-art animation to enliven the entire stage. The event also experimented with new side-programmes that enriched the content, increased networking opportunities and added variety to the programme. The partner exhibiton stands and AKL's own stand were also given a visual makeover.

The event attracted over 600 participants and the day included nine expert and inspiring speeches and one panel discussion. There was plenty of time for networking and participants were able to visit 22 partner exhibition stands. The day culminated in an atmospheric networking event with mocktails.

AKL Summit 2025 received excellent feedback from participants and the event scores increased in all areas compared to the previous event. The overall score was 5.2 (on a scale of 1–6), which is 0.4 points higher than the previous event. The biggest improvements were seen in the overall organisation of the event (+0.6 points, rating 5.0) and the functionality of the event area (+0.7 points, rating 5.3). The programme and networking opportunities also received excellent ratings, both scoring 5.1 points.
