Ässäpäivä is S Group’s annual market trade event for their suppliers' upper management. The aim of the event is to have active dialogue with the important target group and communicate S Group's current themes.
We have been involved in building and developing this unique event with S Group from the very beginning, starting from 2013. The event concept has been developed and shaped actively for it to respond as efficiently as possible to our clients needs, goals and the changes of the world.
Until 2024, the event was held over two days: the first day included two hybrid events for different target groups and the second day included nine virtual theme sets for different target groups. Both days were highly interactive. The hybrid event day included a seminar, an exhibiton area and an evening event.
Over 1500 suppliers attend the event every year. Over 70% of the chosen invited guests attend the event which means the attendees' commitment to the event is very high. The no-show percentage of the event (those who registered but did not attend) managed to be limited to approximately 6–7% in the latest years. Taking into account the limited guestlist – the invited guests are only the upper management of the suppliers – this level is exceptionally low. This strong commitment has been achieved through high-quality and well-timed communication, flexible ways to participate and high-grade content.
The results of the event have been on a very high level every year. Overall satisfaction, usefulness of the event, and its added value to one's own work has always been evaluated with an average of 4,1–4,6 (scale 1–5).
