Maailma kylässä – World Village Festival
World Village Festival was held in Suvilahti on 25 and 26 May 2024. The European Commission Representation in Finland and the European Parliament Office in Finland were the main partners of the festival.
Tapahtumantekijät participated in the design and implementation of the functionality and visuals of the client's tent section. The booth was designed to be approachable and homely. To celebrate the election year, children were also given the opportunity to practice voting, which proved to be very popular.

EU elections: My Europe
An event for young voters was held at BioRex Kulttuurikasarmi on 4 April 2024.
The event and the marketing of the event were aimed at raising young people's awareness of the EU elections and encouraging them to vote. A cinema was chosen as a suitable venue for young people. Participants arrived to listen to a panel discussion on the EU elections and to ask the panellists questions. After the discussion, they enjoyed a recent hit film with movie snacks.
To reach the youth, a social media campaign was organised with a "My favourite EU country" filter game on Instagram, and collaboration with social media influencers.
Tapahtumantekijät were involved in the campaign brainstorming and produced the event.
Europe Day
Europe Day is an annual folk festival with a programme of activities for all ages. Europe Day 2024 took place on 4 May 2024 at Narinkkatori.
During the day there were great musical performances from artists from all over Europe. There were also greetings from ambassadors and a footballers' show on stage. There were tents of various operators and activities for children. To mark the election year, there was also a political party election panel, televised by Yle. The event culminated in a concert by Aliisa Syrjä.
Tapahtumantekijät were responsible for the planning and overall production of the event.

The Commission's vision for the EU's climate targets for 2040 - seminar
The seminar: The Commission's vision for the EU's climate targets 2040 – Accelerating the green transition towards climate neutrality by 2050 was held on 29 February 2024 at the Helsinki Congress Paasitorni in Helsinki, Finland. Tapahtumantekijät were responsible for the planning and overall production of the seminar. The seminar discussed the Commission's communication on climate targets given in the beginning of February, the implementation of the target, challenges and investment needs and their relevance on Finland's climate policy.
The main speakers at the seminar were Yvon Slingenberg, Director of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action, and Jyri Seppälä, the new chair of The Finnish Climate Change Panel. In addition to the keynote speakers, the topics were explored in three panel discussions. The event was chaired by meteorologist and non-fiction writer Kerttu Kotakorpi.
The event was praised for its excellent organisation, efficient execution and comprehensive coverage of the content.
